Sydnie is a senior from Chicago, IL majoring in International Relations with a concentration in international economics and business. Her specific interests include development policy, private sector-led growth, and women’s economic integration. She first joined the IRR as an associate editor for the Africa section and is thrilled to continue highlighting continental affairs while giving a voice to untapped stories.

In between classes and the IRR, Sydnie is a member of Delta Phi Epsilon, interns with an international development firm, and has written for additional student publications. In her free time, you can find her strolling around Boston, dancing in the FitRec studios, and spending all of her money at coffee shops.
